Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training
Six Sigma combines a detailed roadmap (DMAIC: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) with statistical tools to attack and resolve your most critical business issues. Successful Six Sigma projects produce measurable results and help increase a company’s skills in process optimization and continuous improvement.
Six Sigma Yellow Belt training is a three-day program that covers the basic concepts and language of Six Sigma, along with an overview of the DMAIC process and a set of basic tools. Yellow Belts serve on project teams led by a Green or Black Belt.
A Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training Certificate is granted by Purdue MEP to those participants who attend all three days of training.
Objectives:
- Explain what Six Sigma is and how it is used
- List the steps in the main DMAIC process
- Explain how the following tools can assist with continuous improvement efforts: Pareto analysis, CT trees, process maps, SIPOCs, cause and effect diagrams, countermeasure matrix, and control plans
- Explain how data plays a role in continuous improvement
- Understand and apply fundamentals of Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Develop technical comprehension of error proofing and process controls
What You'll Earn:
- Yellow Belt Certification: A Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification is granted to participants who attend all 3 days of training and successfully pass the Yellow Belt exam.
- Digital Badge: Participants who earn a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification will receive a digital badge that contains verifiable metadata validating their achievement. The badge can be displayed on LinkedIn, in email signatures, digital portfolios, résumés, and other platforms to showcase expertise in Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
